ALIENS FROM NEW TOMORROWLAND - The Long Lost Disney-NASA Documentary that confesses the truth!
I've read about this 1995 documentary in many UFO books, but never saw it... then realized it might be on the web. Amazing! It's made me break out in a cold sweat. This was made by Disney and test shown in only five cities on local TV to measure audience response (panic, etc), by telling the unvarnished 'truth' instead of the usual cagey question phrasing "Was it a weather balloon?" becomes "the idea of creatures from another planet might not be as far-fetched as we once thought." The spacecraft that crashed as Roswell - "The shocking history of govt. misinformation programs designed to prevent widespread panic!" All narrated by Robert Urich!
Quotes:
"Scientific verification of extraterrestrial life forms routinely arriving on earth; top secret reports from ongoing military investigations; compelling home videos of alien craft captured within the last few months; world figures who have gone public with their own extraterrestrial experiences; the shocking history of government misinformation programs designed to prevent widespread panic; and personal accounts of those who have been abducted and studied against their will."
" From beyond the boundaries of our perceptions, intelligent beings are beckoning mankind to join the galactic community. It’s an invitation which is both wondrous and terrifying. This is the nature of alien encounters."
And then it ties into a Disney Ride at the end! Now that's genius in diversionary marketing - i.e. "it's toasted!"
Amazing video. People have been looking for this for years and suddenly it resurfaces! It is as timely now as it was then. Disney and other studios were probably told not to release it and given insider information to use in only FICTIONAL alien/UFO movies. Now is a great time for this to be released. People need to know and can handle the truth. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteYes never watched this but the cases are still used as reference today.
ReplyDeleteI am very surprised that it was on Disney.
Thanks again,
Oz
yes!!it is going to happen in my lifetime, alien disclosure,i was tired of all the lies, disinformation and debunking by the govt. or cia, nsa.,being brought out by disney is a stroke of genuis, most people(including me)were brought up trusting and with warm memorys of disney.the human race needs to grow, move forward and take our place in the cosmos.
ReplyDeleteI interviewed the writer/director of this documentary - Andrew Thomas - in 2011 and published his comments about it in my article: 'UFOs and Disney: Behind the Magic Kingdom'...

29 April can't come soon enough
ReplyDeleteAs much as I'd like to believe this was some sort of 'disclosure' capped with a wink... to me, instead, appears to be no more than a cleverly marketed and researched advertising campaign for a Disney theme park feature. Who conceptualized the narrative? Intel plant, or marketing executive with a thumb on the pulse of society? I admit that this advertisement has shown some considerable depth in the understanding of the social consciousness surrounding the extraterrestrial hypothesis, but it does not address any previously 'unseen' revelations. Most typically, the public-at-large may not be aware of these testimonies, but an astute marketing team would have no problem.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - I agree to a point. On the other hand there are way too many strange tangents to make it that cut and dry. Why the late night unscheduled one-time broadcasts if this wasn't some emergency broadcast test patter of War of the Welles-style panic; a disclosure mic check of sorts? Why would the head of Disney participate with grave seriousness on something if it was just fake promotion?
ReplyDeleteDisinformation as a strategy has always fascinated me because it informs the public of some truths masked in fiction at the same time it masks fiction as truth, destroying any correct boundary of what the truth actually is in the process.
Dealing with aliens I think that's the ideal strategy since their presence challenges so much about our conception of reality, of the difference between the concrete and dreams, waking and sleep, life and death, truth and illusion.
Erich, I think you're making great counter-points here, and the question of disinformation strategy is seriously valid, given what we know about the counterintelligence agencies' tactics.
ReplyDeleteI do see a (possible) method to Eisner's madness, however... and do realize he's been a longtime associate of Steven Spielberg. He could not have better social marketing advice on such a complex subject as alien visitation as he can with that filmmaker.
(Of course it's just a speculation on my part as to whether Spielberg had anything to do with this, but I digress.)
I can easily envision marketing with a little toe in the lake of the curious fish and the believing turtles. They'll be the ones up late at night, wondering what that sound was at the back of the house, just outside the bedroom window. I suspect Disney pulled the ads, because they got enough data for the marketing research for the static ride. Then again, it could be a disclosure study, as proposed.
Who's reaction was supposed to have been measured? That's what does not follow easy logic, in this situation. The ad was pulled, seemingly too quickly to measure a broad public response. This lake has more depth and too many unknowns.
speaking of disinformation, why go to so much trouble if there was not a grain of truth about the aliens, why hide mountains of evidents and videos of unidentified objects flying around the iss and moon, all these things you only see on google and u tube, why does the cia, nsa, control all main stream media output on anything alien, the media sensationlize everything but this, there is always a grain of truth in all things..
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty incredible for 1995. It doesn't even remotely follow the usual tv ufo doc formula, wherein you present compelling evidence, and then debunk it with the military's official story of events. But it seems odd that if this was a gov. sanctioned film, that it would come right out and say, "ufos are here and there's nothing we can do to protect you from them." Could it be that Disney did this independently and was told by the gov. to quit showing it, or that gov. is trying to make sure that we're scared to death of aliens so that we reject them should they formally present themselves and offer alternatives to say, energy, or the existing authority. I think the writer of this blog may have made a similar point to Linda Moulton Howe.
ReplyDeleteThis IS an interesting question; I'd like to see a follow-up with those who were on the inside, producing this. An investigation might provide some answers... or even more curious unknowns.
